okane October 27 2016
Good Day

I purchased the Upgrade to Pro 64 Bit version for Prepar3D v4.1. Very nice modeling, steep learning curve, fine with me. So some details.

I'm running windows 10, i7,16Gb Ram, Nvidia-1060. Prepar3D v4.1 with Chaseplane and Spad.Next. Here are some of the problems I have encountered.

I have a combination of sporadic/Random or NO engine sound, followed all the instructions even clicking on plane windshield as suggested in another post - No luck and understand we wait for a fix

Is there some magic combination of configurations required to activate the weather radar? I followed the sample tutorial and several YT videos. Still and nothing that was detailed works in my installation of the Majestic Pro Version. Other than the on/stby/test no other switch or button results in any animation or Wx Or WxA display. Nada Nothing. Not a big deal but if it's not working what else is not!

I have installed the Majestic Dash 8Q400 twice as I thought the first install left something out...did not help.

Suggestion, please provide me and my fellow Virtual Pilots the ability to turn off default failures. I for one found it extremely frustrating to go over hell's half acres looking for a solution, which I found on Avsim. Seems to me the control panel/systems or Flight Config tab would be the perfect location for a simple series of radio check buttons

Thanks for a great looking model, managed to get it off the ground, perhaps with the failures turned off I may get a chance to get her back down.

Fab10
Hi,
During my aproach to RW08 Isafjordur BIIS under VMC, I pressed Terrain Inhibit, but I found that the zoom setting of the ND to be adversely affected by this as my required zoom factor couldn’t be selected.
Is it possible that there exists some odd interaction between these two functions?
Fabulous aircraft under 64-bit skies, thank you!
Best wishes,
Fabio

Boss October 24
Automatic zoom selection is not affected by Terrain Inhibit function. This is a safety feature
Whenever there is a terrain warning, you will get the fixed zoom. Even if the audio warning is inhibited

Fab10 October 24
Hi,
Thanks, I had an idea it was going to be "look out of the window, not at the ND" - VMC after all!
Great aircraft, thank you so much.
Fabio
