How to repair failures?

I have had first inflight failure (ALT and ASP). This knocked out YAW damper and AP use. Emergency landed manually. But now what? The FMS "maint" selection will not activate. How do I repair the aircraft?

    Failures are repairable twenty minutes after pulling up to a gate. Usually enough time if completing a turn

    Do we have to stay on the gate or will it reset also when restarting/shutting down the sim?

    The repair will reset after reloading the sim. Or as a previous post suggested simply increase the rate of the sim to 8x for 3 min, and your failure will be repaired.
