Repaint all black

I'm trying to create my first repaint for p3d using the paint kit.
When I save to BMP 32bits format, in the sim the repaint shows all black. Needs to be saved in a different way?

Another thing using the paint kit which layers you use to paint? I'm using the ones in the folder Map Sides, but the colours don't look right

    I know its a bit late, but what i did on my repaints was:
    Save the repaint from photoshop (or whatever you're using) as BMP 32bit, open it with microsoft paint, then save it as BMP with paint.
    Worked like a charm!
