A web-based application to be used from your desktop or tablet (iPad or Andriod) to acquire departure/destination weather (METARS & TAFS), but more importantly to calculate (takeoff and landing) performance data. Aurasim

That is not a Majestic Software product, and sure if the developer still supports it. The EFB addon can be purchased from one of the Majestic Software vendor affiliates:
Aerosoft
Simmarket
Just Flight
Real Flight Shop
Or simply use the vendor from which you purchased the Q400.
Well, having used the EFB for a few flights now, I think it's a handy addition to the Dash 8 and is worth the small price paid.
The ability to sync the takeoff and landing speed parameters straight in to the aircraft is really cool, saving valuable time and reducing pilot workload. (That said, one does still need to do some manual EFB entry to get the values and then double-check those values with the tables to confirm the values are correct - but that's just good pilotage.)
Also, the EFB giving values for Type I, II (and III) climb and descent speeds, not to mention best cruise speeds, make manual flight or autopilot setting much easier which is far better than "using your best guess".
And having a computed landing distance value means one can easily, correctly and accurately choose the correct landing flap settings to ensure best runway distance and taxiway-turnoff use at the destination airport (and having this information available to you becomes even more handy when you're dealing with wet runways).
Yes, the EFB is a valuable addition to the Dash 8 indeed.
Anything like this available, perhaps as a standalone for FSX users? I realized that there probably aren't many of us, but it seems that this information would be useful.

I see you're charging an additional $20 for a paper EFB. Lol!
That is correct, there is a charge for the addon, as it did require additional work for its implementation.

Thanks..
Unfortunately. no. Development for all 32bit platforms have been discontinued.
