Unfortunately, I am unable to read the message after the VS. There should be anything preventing you from selecting IAS or VS as such. And I take it that if you choose IAS it does not change to the desired mode.

Can't put out an update to some that is not broken. Can you elaborate more on your issue as the issue mentioned in this post has a fix which is mentioned and once a adjusted by the affected use it corrected the issue.

Are you both setting your altimeters to what it should be? If one of you sets 1005, the other person needs to set 1005 as well. Altimeters in a shared cockpit environment will not be synchronized

What version of the Q400 are you using.

In a shared cockpit environment the altimeters are not synchronized. They must be set by each pilot. That is intentional as they are not synchronized in the real aircraft. In the stand alone version one is able to choose altimeter syncing but…

The aircraft does have deicing capabilities available via the FMS or via GSX, but we have not modeled deice fluid being visible on the aircraft. You are possibly think of another developer (fslabs comes to mind)
