FMS not turning on

I have the Q400 running but I am not able to start the FMC. The On button will simply not respond.
Recent changes are a new reinstall and addition of the latest patch.

    Hi,
    just to make sure. The electrical panel is set properly?

    Also, did you load in your payload via the MJC Control Panel? This causes the sim to pause.

    Thanks. I am away for a few days but will check the electrical panel when I get back.I did not load the payload via MJC control.

    The electrical panel appears to function properly. The FMC just does not respond to on/off. Nor do any other buttons until you hit the alignment button. That one works. There do not appear to be any other "Dead" areas that I have noticed. I should mention that the FMC worked fine prior to my last install a week or so ago. This was downloaded from the Majestic Software site.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Let's start with uninstalling your Q400, and reinstall it. Be sure to install by right clicking on the installer as run as administrator
