While it may seem laughable to some extent as you mentioned, for MJC there is a lot more involved that just sharing our code with another developer. It is not something that we are willing to do at this point, unfortunately. Had this been a straight-forward port then we more than likely would have pushed it already, but then like everything else the user group(s) would be dissatisfied with the product.
Yes the project is time consuming (if it is to be done properly) since we have decided to remodel the exterior which is being worked on (some of those images we shared back in June - wow, it has been that long). From a systems perspective just about everything is ready, but with a total remodel of the flight deck we have await its completion to integrate the systems to begin full scale testing.
We have always been forthcoming with progress, granted we do not nor have we provided bi-weekly/monthly updates, but when we do it is straight and to the point regarding the status of the project. Our silence does not mean the project is dead, it merely means that people are prioritizing amongst their daily jobs and family lives, especially when you are away from home days at a time, and or you work 10 to 14 hour days.
Work on the project is steadily being done and when we are able to share images of the state of the project we will.
Cheers
Hi Kroswynd.
As things stand now, could you tell me if the upgrade to FSMS 2020/or 24 will retain all the complex flight systems as currently available in P3D? Or would we have to sacrifice some of the aircraft's systems fidelity in favor of better graphics? Personally, I'd choose aircraft fidelity over the (albeit tempting) beauty of the external graphics.
Thanks. Regards.
