Yawing motion on initial takeoff
Hi,
Im still figuring out how to fly the q400 and i have this huge problem. Before lining up i would always set the rudder trim a bit tad to the right to compensate for the left turn tendency. And before applying full power i would step my rudder pedals to the right, but the aircraft still yaws to the left when i apply full power. I checked my control sensitivity and everything is centered.
I cant figure out whats the problem.
Francis.

Well, some rudder trim and active rudder control should be enough to keep it straight. What do the FCTL indications show on the captain's MFD on takeoff?
