Pretty sure that's just a thing that can happen when the default failures ini gets initialized, happened to me, too after loading the MJC8 for the first time after upgrading to pro.
There are odd occasions where that can happen. We have encountered it a few times during extensive testing, but have seen it more often when a complex aircraft was selected prior to loading the Q400. For best results, attempt to load a default aircraft with FSX or P3D, and then load the Q400.

Mostly yes primarily for the TRAINING EDITION. However one can create their own script for engine fires/failures etc.
