on the control panel it appears to have options for cold and dark Ready for take off etc.
I have tried to get 'Ready for Takeoff' but it wont accept inputs ..just batteries on and engines off

    Not sure if that was your intended title, but understanding you are attempting to initialize the panel states.

    More than likely the state you intended to choose had not been properly implemented.

    What version of P3D are you using?

    If it is v5 then you will have to select the panel state, click apply and then restart the Simulator. This is not how it is originally supposed to work, but LM made some changes which affected the way scripts are executed. Hopefully this will be corrected in one of the upcoming updates.

    Since you are using FSX the CPNA should work as intended.

    1. Select the panel state of choice.
    2. Click APPLY (this may be the step you are missing)
    3. Re-load the "AIRCRAFT" - do not restart the SIMULATOR as this is not necessary.
