Hi Frank,
The only Flybe that I have is the Part B4 - Operations Manual - Volume 1.
I have something from MALEV but it is not as ellaborate as Flybe and I believe you have that Flybe Manual ; if not I'll send you a link to download.
I am the same, I was flying the Flybe, Autrian and Air Baltic routes and, unfortunately eitheir the Airlines or the Q400 disappeared.
There is still LOT which has some interesting routes as the Polish airports have been well designed in P3D so I carry on flying the old routes.
Have a nice day,
JP

Hi Pecker, The way that the UNS FMS works has been reproduced that way by Majestic and I do not think there is a bug but I leave the Majestic people to comment on that. As I said before, the OFP is the document been done by computers with all …

Hi Pecker, You are right regarding the GA distances as they are included in the total distance shown on the FMS. To compare the OFP with the FMS, delete the GA and you are going to have 809 Nm. Of course, after doing that you have to enter aga…
-
And the OFP (PFPX) should give about the same results with Simbrief:
-
OK so you should look somewhere else to find what is wrong on your side. Did you check all the distances between each WP on the FMS and your OFP? Your FMS should look like this:
-
Hi Pecker, I just plan the same route with PFPX and entered it in the FMS and both results are the same: 837 Nm. That I think could be the culprit: Did you position the Q400 on a different departure airport than GVAC ? JP

Ice on the wings and tails, if not removed, is going to change completely the aerodynamics and also the weight of the aircraft. The stall speed is going to be higher and it is why we should increase the speed to keep the aicraft flyable. When …
-
This can be done with the Flight Planner PFPX.
-
Just a thought: Did you have physically ice on the wings or was it only an ice warning? If your wings are free of ice and you increase your landing speed, you are not going to have a nose up and you are going to require a much longer landing dista…

Hi Simeon, You made my day. Problem solved. When you imagine that I am struggling with that problem since the last three days. You are my private Father Xmas! Thanks again and God bless. JP

Very good news. The Q400 is getting better and better. Keep the good work. JP

Hi Günther, Same with me when I clean the cookies and other files with CCleaner. Just click on "my name" and I register again. Regards, JP

After runway of my arrival it's missed approach route. Yes, but ATC may clear you directly to the first WP of your ALTN route. I must to enter alternate airport and star and runway after missed approach route ? The FPL that you…
-
Very simple: You have the FPL between the DEST Apt and the ALTN Apt stored in your FMS to be ready in case you divert. In fact you can store more routes for alternate airports if you wish. You load that FPL when you divert and DTO XXX if you have…
-
Hi, Follow the missed approach procedure as described on the chart and tell ATC that you are diverting to airport XXXX. ATC may give you different instructions. Then follow the route that you have planned for the ALTN. Keep on HDG mode as far …

From Luxair: Bombardier Q400 Please be aware that your cabin baggage size 55 X 40 X 23 cm will automatically be tagged as “delivery at aircraft (DAA)” baggage. This means, you will have to leave it in front of the aircraft before boarding a…

Found in the Flybe manual: Aircraft Identification Access the FLT NBR field from FPL MENU 2/2, LSK [3R]. Input the Aircraft identification (e.g. BEE281E – no spaces or hyphens) and press the ENTER key. But we do not have this fea…

If i put flap 10 before gear down i get alert sound. Quite normal, it is designed that way. Flaps 5, then gear down and then flaps 15 (you usually do not use flaps 10 for landing). On my first picture I made a typo, please read flaps 5 inste…

I manage to get some screen shots as I could not do a video. The FMS are LNAV for the PF and DTO Rwy 05 for the PNF to give the distance to the PF and check the ALT. I am using Hpa which is not as accurate as Inches of Hg which could explain t…

Thats it, the red circle. You prepare the configuration around XULTA to have the aircraft ready to start the final descent. When you do the descent manually with V/S you start about 0.3 Nm before the TOD and adjust (if necessary) the ROD every Nm.
-
the TOD of your final descent when you are going to land. In your ex: CYYZ around RONTA and CYUL around XULTA
-
TOD = Top of Descent
-
IAF and FAF have nothing to do with the final descent. By following the above (Flybe), 3 nm from TOD you prepare the aircraft to be ready for the final descent. If you do it too early you are going to use more TRQ and more fuel as you'll have …

This is valid for a VOR / DME quite similar than LNAV
-
That's good. One or two things to correct. After YUL HDG 240. OK. Then I would have prepared a DTO XULTA in the FMS to be ready to arm LNAV when ATC clears you to XULTA for your approach. Then when you have been cleared and on LNAV, arm VNAV (…

After the GA I fly HDG following the missed apch instructions. The ALT and ALT SEL have been previously set to 3000 Ft. Towards AVTEK reaching 3000 Ft I continue on HDG and start turning still in HDG like if ATC was instructed me, say HDG 360 then…

I tried again to record without success but all the approaches, GA and approaches again went fine the way that they shoud go.
-
Sorry but, maybe because I have 3 screens, the recording was done from the right seat, very bad quality and not understandable.
-
I'll see if it works with p3d
-
I recorded through p3dv4.5 and I got a file .fsr which is impossible to playback. If you have a tip how I could record a flight, thank you to let me know.
