  • Are you using the Simbrief downloader? Have you checked that you are downloading the plan for the appropriate version of the Q400 as Simbrief prepares downloads for both the 1.24v and 1.25v?

  • DATA page 4 of the FMS displays the current value for the magnetic variation from the database and according to the FMS manual this value can be manually altered so perhaps you could try setting the variation to zero. I haven't tried this myself so …
