I have just upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10. This was an upgrade, not a fresh installation, meaning that all of my files and currently installed programs were kept. In other words, my existing Flight Sim stuff (P3D) remained intact, including the Dash 8, with me not having to reinstall anything.
My PMDG, FSLabs, Flight 1 and other purchased aircraft all worked fine in Windows 11. However, my first attempt to load the Dash 8 failed with cockpit screens showing strange overlapped data and other things not working well at all. I recall reading that a possible fix when the Dash 8 does not load correctly is to go to the folder where P3D saves your situation files and erase all the .mj1 and .mj2 files. I did that. But, the Dash 8 still did not load correctly.
The fix? Reading the thread I've linked below suggested a re-install of the Dash 8. I did this, and, voila, all fixed ... she works like a charm!
