I haven't programed any failures into my flights, but last night after flying about fifty miles I got oil warning lights then shortly after engine failure. How can this be fixed and what could have caused this.
Could be icing build up on the engine air intakes, consider if you were in icing conditions and if you had the intake heaters on.
Random failures are enabled be default but rare, so it could've also been that. You can adjust the likelihood of wear based failures in the mjc84.ini: WearOffFactor=1.0
Setting 0 will disable them, setting 10 will make them 10 times more likely than reality.
Failures and damage will reset after the aircraft has been on the ground with engines off for 20 minutes.
