RNAV constraint

Hi.
About Rnav approach.
Often I don't have Rnav approach procedure in fms but if I but myself approach waypoint I put altitude constraint waypoint and when I want to put altitude constraint for the runway I can't put less than 300 feet the lowest altitude. Is it possible to put for example 100 feet ?
Or how I must to do to get vnav procedure to descent to runway
to excep by V/S ?

  • Hello,

if there is no RNAV approach in the database, none can be flown. There would then have to be a different instrument approach in the database, otherwise it is a sight approach. Which airport is it about, for example? The smallest manually set value for an altitude restriction is 260 ft. Existing restrictions cannot be overwritten.

  • I have stored RNAV approaches for CYYY (Rwy 06, 15, 24) and CYGR (Rwy 07, 16, 25). No approach data are stored for CYGP, but there is also an RNAV approach here. My data come from the AIRAC 1712.
