Approach speed setting

I set up the approach speed bug for landing, but there are so many different speeds that I don't know which one to adopt. I have two triangle bug settings for the approach, but I don't know if it's Vref, Vga, Vapp or Vfly.
Also, do these speeds need to take the wind into account? I would like to know how to calculate the approach speed. Thank you!

  • Per Flybe, could be different with other operators:

  • Great resource!
I'm curious about the speed settings during takeoff and icing, and other things to consider. Can you show me more?

  • For TOff, in respect of the mass and the flaps setting, taken from the TOLD card in that order:
    V1, Vr, V2, Vfri, Vclimb
Some adjustments depending of the altitude, Rwy conditions, application of icing fluid.

    Icing conditions:
Set Vclimb bug+20. At acceleration altitude increase the speed to Vclimb+20 and then REF SPEEDS switch to INCR.

    Hi,

Another airline operating the Q400 sets the bugs like this:

    Landing:
