MJC8 Q400 with P3Dv5; flashing dial/lights

Always had the MJC8 Q400 with P3Dv4; no problem, updated platform to P3Dv5 now get flickering dials, lights and noise once aircraft is loaded up; unable to go anywhere, even battery shut down and up; stays the same. Specifically the Engine Panel at the OIL graphics; flashing fuel number and dial with red random 10 digit number across screen- 3648 on one side and -2147483648 on the other. Plus at the same time the 4 blue/white lights BTL LOW / HYD flash like Christmas, under the Fuel Valve lights which are fine. Switching Battery on/off same thing, have reinstalled. Did a fresh install of mjc8-400-Pilot-1_021_x64-inst. Other aircraft are fine.
Can anyone one help please, thanks, Gus

  • Your issue is a protection one which has been discussed several times on the forum for which a search will give you multiple threads regarding the matter.

In the mean time, uninstalling then reinstalling the Q400 as the administrator usually corrects the issue.

  • Hi kroswynd

Tried this 2 full re installs with direct X and simconnect asked again and installed, same thing unable to do anything with any switch, just all flashing and beeping. Tried the timer and sync buttons on the CP page no difference, can't think what else to try, as other aircraft and A OK. It's a shame as this is the aircraft with the most up to date tutorials like airline2sim.

    Thanks, Gusbow
