Hello, Not sure what to say regarding the Chaseplane functionality and P3D settings as the Q400 and Shared Cockpit implementation do not make any changes to the SIM platform or any third party utilities. As a matter of fact most of the users o…

Discussed multiple times in the forum and a search can provide additional information. http://majesticsoftware.com/forums/discussion/comment/3568#Comment_3568

Prepar3D v4.x and v5.x are 64bit simulators and you would have to purchase the 64bit upgrade available from the vendor from which you originally purchased your Q400. Cheers

If you are running the PRO edition you would be able to add the supporting joystick button via the VARList supplied. Or as @aua668 mentioned the LUA option seems to be quite favorable for many and works quite well. I personally have used it, bu…

Hi, Thank you for the input regarding this. Back in the early development phase of this aircraft the aircraft allowed to us did not have a third NAV radio which as you rightly mention is located next to the STBY COM, you may notice that the spot i…

Hello, It could be up to 48 hours, but the response is normally much quicker than that. If you still have not heard anything by tomorrow let m know and I'll reach out to Support. Apologies for the inconvenience that this may be causing you. …

Fueling to the Q400 is done via the CPAN at this time cheers

@dani3282 said: Thanks for your answer. The FSI panel, it's the same of the FSI weather? Because it's the one I use. And the issues about the scripts, no idea how to use it. Thanks https://www.fsipanel.com/

Hello If you are unfamiliar with scripting you can get FSiPanel which will allow for engine failures, not sure about fires. OR You can have a look at the scripts folder in the mjc8q400 folder for an example on script creating. If …

This does not work like the Airbus or Boeing aircraft. Clicking on the hand simply resets the BARO to 29.92 which is the same as STD.
-
Hello, No there is not. But you can create a scenario of a cold and dark state without the GPU attached. Downside is you'll have to reposition the aircraft to your airport of choice since the scenario creation is based on a set environment.

Well those are the best options that I am able to suggest. I have put FSX to bed several years ago and do not look into utilities that work with it. We merely keep a working copy to test if needed, and that is very rare. Prepar3d has an Academi…

The TRAINING and COCKPIT Editions are the final phase of the Q400 development and is more geared to pilots, airlines, etc. It is very likely that the latter editions will not be FSX compatible. However at this time engine failures based on time ar…

Engine fail funtionality is designed for the training edition and higher. You can however write your own script to invoke engine fail procedures.

Sorry unable to help as I have not used that utility since switching to CPlane

Hello, Deleting the ini files will reset/recreate new ones. We unfortunately do not have any detailed documentation supporting the parameters, as it is a work in progress for future plans down the road. Cheers

Good day, Unfortunately, we are not providing review/press copies at this time as there is nothing new to review with the PRO Edition, and there are many informative reviews already present If you have a group of followers on your YouTube chan…

While we attempt to answer questions promptly, we are not always able to provide an immediate response!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A search on the forum, and or possibly a look in the manuals that have been provided with the aircraft would offer some insig…

When we moved to the 64bit platform a fair majority of the code had to be re-written and as a result shared cockpit functionality will not work as it ought to with a 32bit platform. Cheers

Hello Lennart, Setting the default sound device to your headphones within windows properties should be achievable. However, in order to manipulate sounds devices on a more advanced level the PRO edition and higher would have to be your option to…

Hi @ScottecLEMD , Thanks for the heads up, it is odd

Good to hear that you are back on track

Hello, In order for one to gain access to the addon from any vendor an order number is generated immediately upon purchase. Did you receive an email from Just Flight when you purchased the Q400, as it would be a JFLXXXXXXXX generated number? Un…

First let's get an understanding of the tiller functionality. A complete stop is is not necessary for use of the tiller, if your tiller is not active below 40 knots then there may be a configuration issue on your end or your nose wheel steering s…

Your issue sounds like it more than likely is caused by the Win10 update changing your audio configuration. Very good chance that this will happen when another sound is played while your sim is running. I would recommend doing a search online to a…

Hi @ScottecLEMD Thank you for the update. The observation of the contrail is interesting although I doubt it is related (although it could be possible). That effect if I am not mistaken is driven by the Dash 8 immersion, but certainly interesti…

Hi, The Pilot Edition is our basic tier of the Q400 series which unfortunately does not have a panel state configuration option. this feature is only available in the PRO and higher editions.
-
We will provide information on the Q300 when we see the need to do so, and our focus right now is on the last phase of the Q400.

This is a 2020 road map thread in the announcements which speaks to this.
