A flight control check should allow you to see if controls are working prior to taking the active for takeoff. Although your issue has to be compounded by another underlying issue, not a common issue. Especially if you are not able to replicate it…

The folder it should be pointing to is is the NAV folder located in the mjcq400 root folder.

Hello Mathis, Could you provide more info, please? How are you attempting to change it? What simulator platform are you using?
-
Assuming you have the pro edition there may have been a failure.
-
What version of the Q400 do you have? If you own the pro version then one has been supplied which is located in the docs folder of the mjc8q400 root folder. You can simply click on the html link and there are various manuals from which to choose.

Good to hear.... The use of two yokes and rudder pedals should also be achievable

Are you setting the standby altimeter as well?
-
Nose wheel steering in the Q400 is not like the average simulated aircraft which is controlled by the rudder pedals, which in this case is what you are trying to accomplish. You will get some movement +/- 12 degrees with the duffer pedals but it wi…

Wow, this is a really delayed response. Our apologies. What you are seeing is not a problem and an intentional design to assist in executing tight turns by applying some asymmetrical thrust as it would be done in the real aircraft. This can be …

If you are using the default P3D/FSX controls then, unfortunately, it is a SIM related issue, which is why we have allowed for users to implement the 125Hz controls (if you OWN the PRO Edition or higher). Instructions for implementing it are in the…

@Mtango We MJC have made our own "Official" statement regarding the Q400 and v5 of P3D, which is still the case, nor have we made mention of whether the upgrade would be free. http://majesticsoftware.com/forums/discussion/735/majestic-software…

Your issue is not a common one, and you may have to supply some more information to allow us to assist. * Are you using the default MAJESTIC connection tool? * Have both you and sim partner tried connecting with no other third party utilitie…

At this time I am unaware of any issues, and there isn't an active beta at the moment until the new TRAINING beta is pushed. As far as the Alpha group no AMD

Thanks for the info regarding the update. Hopefully this is not a show stopper for all the PCs that will be updated here in the near future.

We are not officially offering support for v5 as yet, and results will vary for some users. There is a post regarding v5 compatibility which specifically addresses the cpan functionality among other items. Changes in sim per the apply and aircra…

There will be some limitations with gsx regarding the Q400, bear in mind the the simulation platform is merely used as graphical interface as all the flight and ground handling is done outside of the Sim. Updates are cumulative so even if (a) wa…

@Tiller, NWS works fine, there more than likely is something amiss with your setup. If you are not using a separate joystick for the tiller then there is no need selecting the SPOILER AXIS. if you are planning on using the ailerons for nose whe…

Are you running the Q400 as a standalone without any other third party add-ons running?

The wear_off_factor has nothing to do with the gear issues, and if you fail to ensure gear pins are not secured before takeoff you will still reap the repercussions of the gear failing to retract.

10 knots after Vr the aircraft will want to fly so it's not uncommon. Showing a video clip of your experience may help us to better analyze your issue, as I am sure that its maybe related to a configuration issue. Cheers

@TomazDrnovsek 1. Your issue is a bit odd but I too have experienced this under the following circumstances, not saying they may be applicable to you. You failed to mention what control system you are using. Are you using the 125Hz control sys…

Within the mjc84.ini change the wear_off_factor value to 0.

Hello, Just seeing you post as I had some internet issues yesterday. Your issue may seem to be an incorrect manipulations of your input devices. It can appear to be cumbersome or confusing at first but once you get the hang of your devices numb…

@Tiller said: Yes, of course, but it does not make any difference. Have you read our thread on P3D v5 and the Q400? You are attempting a function which was spoken about.
