There is no recent patch from Majestic at this moment as we don't narmally have to put one out with each LM update.
During our testing with 5.2 we have not encountered any fps issues unless testing out side of the norm.
Are you experiencing this issue running the Q400 standalone, and at a default airport, or is this with complex scenery and other addons. A bit difficult for us to "probably" determine your issue without some additional information on your system and configuration.
If you experience frame rate problems, it's not the Q400. It's P3D 5.2. There is a thread on the AVSIM forum, dealing with the increased load on LP0 of the CPU. Affinity mask helps in case you are using Hyperthreading. But it's definitely not the Q400, which always was frame rate friendly due to the own simulation engine. And there is a hotfix quite near.
