Saitek Pro Flight Yoke Push-to-Talk Deactivates Autopilot

I fired up this beautiful bird the other day and found a problem. I have the latest version of the Dash8-Q400 on P3D v 4.5 with the latest version. I fly on VATSIM and use the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke. Through VPILOT I have the red button (on top of yoke) on the yoke dedicated to talking with air traffic control. I discovered that when I press the push-to-talk the autopilot deactivates. I also use FSUIPC6 and no where does it reference autopilot. Here is a copy of my FSUIPC6 ini entry. The few times I flew this bird I did not encounter air traffic control so I was never aware of this problem. How can I fix this problem?

  • It is very possible that the mjc84.ini has this button assigned to the AP or be sure to check your P3D button assignments to ensure that the AP is not active there as well.
  • OK I have found the entry in the .ini file. My question is do I delete only inputs.AP_disengage? Or both entries under ;AP DISC?

    [JOYSTICK_INTERFACE_ASSIGNMENTS]
    ; See SpecialFeatures.pdf Joystick Connector section for description
    ; Ailerons
    ;J0_X=FlightControls_->sensors.Aileron0_ADC
    ; Elevators
    ;J0_Y=-FlightControls_->sensors.Elevator0_ADC
    ; Rudder
    ;J0_Z=FlightControls_->sensors.Rudder0_ADC
    ; AP DISC
    J0_b1=AFCS_->inputs.AP_disengage
    J0_b2=AFCS_->inputs.TCS_button

  • You can simply put a ";" in front of the syntax
