EFB sync from Simbrief does not transfer all fuel values
Hi,
Op System: Win 11
FS Version: P3D V5.4
Add-on: Majestic Q400 Training edition
AIRAC Update No: 2507 rev 1
The EFB sync from the Simbrief OFP is a great feature. Unfortunately not all the fuel values are transferred, although they are available at the Simbrief OFP. Especially Alternate, Hold and Extra are not set.
Find enclosed a Simbrief OFP and how it's transferred to the fuel page:
Would it be possible to add these values to the sync?

I've noticed that with the EFB installed, the control panel no longer sends data to the Q400. Which is not ideal for me, I prefer to load the Q400 a bit nose heavy and I am unable to do that with the EFB. I use a FFB yoke and prefer to have some weight on the nose for takeoff and landing (personal preference). Always having a perfectly balanced aircraft is no fun, especially in icing and turbulent conditions. I like the idea of having a little jeopardy on my flights. It would be nice, not critical, to have the option built in to the EFB.
Cheers, Jax
@Jax_in_BC : I can't reproduce your problem. I can transfer load values from the Simbrief OFP and from the Q400 control panel. Both systems transfer the data as expected to the Q400. I use the control panel and the EFB on a second PC. Are you using them directly on the P3D PC?

Hi Reinhard, I'm using P3Dv4.5 which may be making the difference here. The EFB works as advertised on my sim pc. It's the Majestic control panel that will not send any data to the FMS. The FMS fuel page, will only show the "basic weight". Although, I can see the fuel weight change on the engine display as expected. Which proves that the fuel is being adjusted in the aircraft, I'm not certain about the payload weight and balance. I'll have to experiment with some things for a while, see what I can find. Thank you, Reinhard for testing this on your machine, I appreciate it. This may be a P3Dv4 thing or a Windows 10 thing, I'll find a solution eventually, even if it means editing the ini file directly.
Cheers, Jax
The control panel did never transfer values into the FMS. It always only changed the values in the simulator (load, fuel) which could be verified by tools reading these values. FMS always had to be managed manually. The EFB now changes the sim values and the FMS values.

Thanks Reinhard, I had a bit of a brain-fade moment there for sure.
