32-bit or 64-bit? If you have the 32-bit version and want to upgrade to 64-bit, it's not a free upgrade. Check the link I posted, or have a look for similar in sim-market.
If you already own the 64-bit version, then the latest update can be downloaded from this site (and from sim-market as well, I expect).

Which version of the Q400 do you currently own?
For updates, iirc, I just download them from where I bought it (Just Flight). Or support -> user area on this site.
Just in case you meant upgrade, I bought through Just Flight. I expect that other vendors' offerings are very similar.

If you did not purchase the 64bit upgrade you will have to do so as the 32bit version is ONLY for P3D v 1 thru 3.x
You will however have to purchase the upgrade from the vendor that you bought your 32bit version from to qualify for the upgrade.
