Glad to hear that you are now enjoying the Q400, it is a joy to fly and requires input from the pilot through all stages of flight. I have had the aircraft for 2 years and I still learn new things through watching YouTube and reading articles.
I adjust my trim with my yoke buttons which are mapped to the standard FSX trim up/down commands.
Enjoy learning and flying this wonderful machine.

I'm an PPL on a ROBIN DR 400 (I've the Aerosoft Add-on) and I hope to valid my licence again maybe next year.

It has never been an issue for most users who follow the instructions, odd that you seem to be the only one with this issue. The cost of the addon has nothing to do with the fact that you are unable to get a function to work. Simply state your case!
Are you following the directions to ensure that the state will work?
Ensure that you are running the CPAN as Administrator
Select the Panel State of choice
Click APPLY
RELOAD THE AIRCRAFT WITHIN THE SIMULATOR
It does not load cold and dark for me, either. I've seen this problem reported by more than a few other people. Understanding this is 2024 and this is an old FSX add-on, would appreciate any further guidance you might have. Is there a file I can try to hack?

Doesn't seem to be working.
And I see the ccColdaAndDark.mgs file in scriptLib. Looking at that (thank you for making this a text file), I see 0's in all the right places.
So it comes down to why the airplane isn't running the script.
OK. Bailed out and ran FSX as admin. That worked. In case anybody else comes across this, try that.
