sharp instrument panels

Hi guys,
Not sure if this is a p3dv5 thing or q400,but looking for a bit of advice.
I have both p3dv4 and v5 installed and the q400 is installed in both. However the visual appearance are dramatically different. I have tried to replicate the settings in p3dv5 from those of v4 but my instrument screens are quite blurry compared to those of v4 especially the engine parameters screen. My monitor is only 1920-1080 but in v4 the screens are very sharp and easy to read. While I can read the screens in v5 they are no where near as good as those of v4 .
Is there anything I can do to fix this

    Are you CPAN setting the same under the GRAPHICS section?

    Also in you P3D.cfg you want to ensure that COCKPIT_HIGH_LOD=1 under your graphics section is NOT set to 0
