Warning sound on approach

Dear all

I'm not very familiar with this aircraft and I'm still learning it to fly. However I have a very "nerving" warning sound on approach when extending flaps without the gear down or even when I put the throttles to idle in a deep descent and the gears are not lowered. Can I silence them?

  • The warning could be one of two things.

    Gear horn if the airspeed is below 150 and the gear is retracted.

    OR

    The most likely on is that bringing the power levers back below the flight idle detent (into Disc) will trigger that noise, unless to have a detent to prevent that.
