Patch 1.026a not installing

Hello, I have version Q400 Training Edition version 1.025a installed for Prepar3D V5. I run the mjc8-400-patch1026a-x64-inst.exe file, choose "Prepar3D V5", verify the correct installation path, but installation fails with the error "Version 1.025 or 1.026 of the Q400 addon not detected".

If I go to my Add/Remove Programs list, I see an entry for "Majestic MJC8Q400". If I open C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\SimObjects\Airplanes\mjc8q400\doc/index.html, it says "MJC8 Q400 TRAINING EDITION version 1.025a for Prepar3D v5.x and v6.x".

Any ideas?

    I had a similar issue with trying to install 1.026 on 1.025b for FSX. Contacted support and they seem to think that the installer may not be correctly recognizing the patches. The CS person suggested that I delete, install 1.025, skip the patches and attempt 1.026. Alternately you could wait for a fix, but no timeframe given. I took his suggestion and it updated without issue.

    I can confirm: uninstall - then make an install of 1.025 and the install 1.026a.
    For me it worked this way. Of course make a backu befor uninstalling to add your additional liveries, etc. easily later.
